Website Terms of Use
Effective date: October 18, 2026
These terms apply to your use of settlevia.com (the "website"), which is operated by SettleVIA Inc. ("SettleVIA", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website.
What the website is
The website gives information about SettleVIA and its technology: VIASmartPay, VETO and Threads. It is provided for general information.
Nothing on the website is an offer to supply technology or services, or an offer of payment, money transmission or any other financial service. Any supply by SettleVIA is governed only by a separate written agreement signed by SettleVIA.
Nothing on the website is legal, regulatory, financial or investment advice. Take your own advice before acting on anything you read here.
Descriptions of the technology
The website describes SettleVIA's technology as it is designed to work, and the uses and outcomes it is designed to support. These descriptions are general and may change. They are not a warranty, representation or commitment that any feature, capability, deployment or outcome is available, or will be available, in a particular form, at a particular time or in a particular jurisdiction. Examples and scenarios are illustrative.
Any commitment about what the technology does is made only in a written agreement signed by SettleVIA, and only to the extent set out there.
Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes. You must not:
- break any law or regulation that applies to you or to us;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its host or any connected system, or probe, scan or test their security without our written permission;
- introduce malware or anything else harmful, or interfere with the website's operation;
- use automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on the website;
- pretend to be SettleVIA or anyone else, or suggest that SettleVIA endorses you or your organization;
- use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising or bulk messages.
If you have found a security issue, please report it to security@settlevia.com rather than testing further.
Our content and how you may use it
The website and its content, including text, diagrams, illustrations, the design of the pages and the brief, belong to SettleVIA or to those who have licensed it to us. They are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may:
- view the website and keep the copies your browser makes;

You may quote from it with attribution to SettleVIA.
Unless we agree in writing, you may not:
- change the brief or any other content and present the result as SettleVIA's;
- sell it or include it in a product or service you charge for;
- remove copyright, trademark or attribution notices;
- use the content in a way that suggests SettleVIA endorses you or your work.
Photographs, the SDG icons and other third-party material on the website are not covered by this license. They remain subject to their owners' terms, shown in the credits where they apply.
Trademarks
SettleVIA, VETO, Threads, DGI and VIASmartPay, and the SettleVIA logo, are trademarks of SettleVIA Inc. You may use our names in plain text to refer accurately to SettleVIA and its technology. You may not use our logo, or our names in a way likely to cause confusion or suggest endorsement, without our written permission.
Program logos and other third-party marks
NVIDIA Inception, IBM Partner Plus and Nokia Network as Code, and their logos, are trademarks of their respective owners. The website refers to them to show SettleVIA's participation in those programs. That reference does not mean that any of these companies endorses SettleVIA, its technology or the statements on the website.
Other names and marks on the website belong to their owners.
The Sustainable Development Goals
The website uses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal icons in line with the UN's guidelines. The content of this publication has not been approved by the United Nations and does not reflect the views of the United Nations or its officials or Member States.
Links to other websites
The website links to some websites run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle personal data. A link does not mean we endorse the site.
What you send us
The contact form is for starting a conversation. Please do not send confidential information through it. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, sending us information through the website does not create a confidentiality obligation or any other relationship between us. When a discussion needs confidentiality, we will put an agreement in place first.
We handle the personal data you send us as described in our Privacy Notice.
No warranties
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties or representations of any kind about the website or its content, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or freedom from errors or harmful components.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SettleVIA and its directors, officers, employees, agents and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from or in connection with the website or its content, whatever the cause of action and even if the loss was foreseeable.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from or in connection with the website is limited to US$100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Your responsibility to us
If you use the website in breach of these terms, you agree to compensate SettleVIA for the claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that result from that breach.
Privileges and immunities
Nothing in these terms waives, or is to be read as waiving, any privilege or immunity of a State, an international organization or a United Nations agency, or of their officials.
Suspending access and changing the website
We may change, suspend or withdraw the website or any part of it at any time. We may block access by anyone who breaches these terms. The sections on our content, trademarks, warranties, liability, your responsibility to us, and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you use the website applies to that use.
Governing law and courts
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the website, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek urgent relief to protect our intellectual property or the security of the website in any court with jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
General
These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement between you and SettleVIA about the website. They do not replace or change any written agreement you or your organization have signed with SettleVIA, which prevails over these terms if they conflict.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we may still enforce it later.
If we publish these terms in other languages, the English version prevails.
